Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Kabadayi Games ("we", "our", or "us") handles information in connection with our mobile application Paper2Quiz (Android package com.kabadayigames.papertwoquiz). Paper2Quiz helps you turn exam PDFs into quizzes, flashcards, and AI-assisted study sessions.

This policy applies only to Paper2Quiz. Other Kabadayi Games products (for example Ballgorithm) have their own separate privacy policies.

1. Information We Collect

Paper2Quiz is designed to keep most of your study data on your device. We do not operate a Paper2Quiz account system and we do not run our own backend that stores your PDFs, answers, or chat history.

Depending on how you use the app, the following may be processed:

  • Study content you provide: PDFs you import, extracted questions, your answers, wrong-answer lists, flashcards, learning maps, tutor notes, and progress/streak data stored locally on your device (for example in on-device databases).
  • Your Gemini API key (optional): If you enable AI features, you may enter your own Google Gemini API key. That key is stored securely on your device (for example via the platform secure storage) and is used to call Google’s Gemini API directly from your device. We do not receive or store your API key on Kabadayi Games servers.
  • App preferences: Local settings such as theme preference may be stored on your device.

We do not require your email address, real name, phone number, or payment information to use the core local study features of Paper2Quiz.

2. How Your Information Is Used

Information processed by Paper2Quiz is used only to:

  • Import and parse exam PDFs into study sessions
  • Let you practice quizzes, review wrong answers, and study flashcards
  • Power optional AI features (explanations, curriculum mapping, flashcard/quiz generation) using your own Gemini API key
  • Remember your local progress, mastery, and daily study activity on the device

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Paper2Quiz study content for third-party advertising profiles.

3. Artificial Intelligence & Third-Party Services

When you use AI features, relevant content (for example question text, topic prompts, or excerpts needed for parsing/teaching) is sent directly from your device to Google Gemini using your API key. Kabadayi Games does not intermediate that traffic through our own paid AI proxy for Paper2Quiz.

Google’s processing of that data is governed by Google’s terms and privacy documentation for the Gemini API / Google AI services. Please review:

The app may also fetch publicly available curriculum/topic reference pages from the internet to enrich learning maps. Those requests are limited to supporting study features and do not include your Gemini API key.

4. Data Storage & Security

Local study data remains on your device unless you export it yourself (for example sharing a file) or send content to Google Gemini while using AI features. Reasonable platform protections (including secure storage for API keys where available) are used, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Uninstalling the app or clearing app data typically deletes locally stored Paper2Quiz content on that device.

5. Children’s Privacy

Paper2Quiz is an education/study tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Paper2Quiz backend. If you believe a child has entered sensitive personal details into AI prompts or documents, stop use of those features and contact us so we can advise on deletion from the device / related Google account settings as applicable.

6. Your Choices

  • You can use many study features without enabling AI.
  • You can remove your Gemini API key from the app settings at any time.
  • You can delete imported exams, notes, and local study data within the app or by clearing/uninstalling the app.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top of this page will be revised when changes are posted. Continued use of Paper2Quiz after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
